"I had been doing Weight Watchers for several years and had great success losing and maintaining my weight. During the 2008 holidays, I went a little wild for a period of time and ended up gaining about 5 lbs. I have a petite frame and am only 5 feet tall, so having to lose weight when I was already at a low weight was very challenging for me. All through 2009, I tried to get that 5 lbs off and was unsuccessful.

For the last 2 1/2 years, I worked out at Star Fitness 3 days a week with Donna Wrobel, who is the most awesome fitness instructor I've ever experienced, doing spin 2x, Body Pump 2x and boot camp 1x a week. I also ran 3–4 miles one day each weekend. Even though I was used to exercising, I started feeling badly... always tired and sluggish and having difficulty getting through workouts. I figured it had to be my food intake that was causing this.

At the end of October 2009 I contacted Jared Meacham and explained my situation to him. I told him my goals were to feel better, to lose the 5 lbs. and to have an eating plan that would keep me within my Weight Watchers points for each day. So Jared met with me and we discussed my history and then he came up with a meal plan that he felt would help me achieve my goals. Jared is great to work with!! He is extremely knowledgeable about nutrition and how different foods affect the body. He is easy to talk to, very accessible when I had questions and he helps me understand why we were doing things the way we were doing them.

I started the plan on November 2nd. After being on the plan for only 3 weeks, I lost 6 lbs. and was feeling great!! I also noticed a major difference in muscle definition. I was sold and Jared was my new best friend!! Now, I have dropped one of my exercise days and am still able to maintain my weight with Jared’s plan. I have so much confidence in Jared’s plan that I don’t even count Weight Watchers points anymore. I find I have more freedom with Jared’s plan to make good choices at home or when dining out. "I'm a person who has loved sports my entire life. I even received a four year scholarship to play basketball at LSU. I loved racquetball and became a national champion in Women's Open Single. I was sponsored by E- Force, a company that sold racquets, footwear, clothing etc. During those years, I had several surgeries on both my knees due to injuries. I continued playing using knee braces, and still went on to win the 45+ Women's Singles at Nationals. Eventually, I had to stop playing because my knees were so bad. I had a very hard time standing, walking and doing anything active.

After 7 years, I began to gain weight and my health was suffering. In ‘07, I had both knees replaced. My trainer at the time was scared to work on my legs and so was I. After many months of training, I decided to stop and try and do cardio on my own, but when my doctor put me on Lipitor for high cholesterol due to my poor eating habits I had to do something. I heard about Precision Body Designs and decided to contact them. I spoke with Jared Meacham. He is the founder of PBD. He invited me in for a free workout to see what he could do for me. He did not want me to sign-up until he was certain he could help me. That impressed me! I wanted to see what he could do for me too, since I had previously worked with 3 trainers with few results. The first visit sold me! Jared gave me a great session and I knew he WAS the CHOSEN one for me. He knew so much more than the other trainers, and I was totally pleased. Wow!!! What a great move that decision has been.

I'm 56 years young and I feel like I'm 26 again. I can do things I haven't done in over 15 yrs. Most importantly, I'm off Lipitor and blood pressure medications. My doctor was so impressed and I've been off now for over 6 months. THIS is what a success story is about. Here I am, living proof! You bet I want to praise PBD for what these trainers do. "Historically I dreaded exercise and avoided it as best I could but our trainer Shane has made it fun and challenging. I'm actually looking forward to workouts now. Shane keeps the exercises and intensity varied to avoid burnout and seems to know how hard we can be pushed without injuring ourselves. That makes each session difficult but not so much that we're overdoing it. He even came up with a special workout for my 30th birthday involving 30 reps of various exercises!
